This information is about your mail key. 

The first thing to do is get the mail keys and box number from your realtor or prior resident. If this is not a viable option, 

then you have to take care of the situation yourself. 

The HOA DOES NOT have extra keys to your mail box. This is because of liability reasons. 

The post office DOES NOT have extra keys to your mail box. This is because the post office does not own our community box. 

The post office CAN tell you which box is yours. You will then need to have a locksmith come out to re-key your box. Many new residents have had to do this, and it is fast and relatively cheap.
